B Muthuram is the New President for CII

B Muthuraman, Vice Chairman Tata Steel has taken over as the President for The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Muthuraman will be President for the year 2011-12. Adi Godrej, Chairman, Godrej group has been elected as President for the year next.

B Muthuraman, Vice Chairman Tata Steel has taken over as the President for The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Muthuraman will be President for the year 2011-12. Adi Godrej, Chairman, Godrej group has been elected as President for the year next.
CII has also appointed S. Gopalakrishnan, CEO & MD, Infosys, as its vice president for the current year. Gopalakrishnan will succeed Adi Godrej to become the CII president for 2013-14. Incidentally, this is the first time that CII has inducted three office bearers at the helm of affairs, following changes in the rules of the organisation.
