Rajesh Mishra takes over as the CEO of Pay Point India

The development comes at a time when the company has applied for a Payment Banking License to the Reserve bank of India

Pay Point India Network, a fast moving consumer services company, has announced the appointment of Mr. Rajesh Mishra as the new Chief Executive Officer today. Mr. Mishra will take over the day-to-day operational and administrative responsibilities and oversee smooth progress and governance in the company.

The development comes at a time when the company has applied for a Payment Banking License to the Reserve bank of India.

 

Mr. Mishra brings with him experience of more than 20 years in diverse industries like Information Technology, Network Solutions, and Telecommunication. In the last eight years he has been associated with the Payment Solutions domain be it ATM Networks, Card Management Systems or Issuance of Pre Paid Instrument. He held the office of President at My Mobile Payments Limited, where he oversaw the sales and operations of the company across India. He completed his management studies from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai and engineering from Madras Institute of Technology.

 

As CEO, Mr. Mishra will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s long term strategy.  In this role his primary focus will be on increasing retail touch points, streamlining customer service levels and introducing new products.

Currently, the company offers services under four main verticals: financial products, utility payments, recharges, and bookings. Over 60 service providers including leading names like State Bank of India, IRCTC, Reliance Energy, BSNL, MTNL, BMC, Tata Sky, Dish TV, Indigo have partnered with the company.
