Patni Computers has come up with a new program called “Patni Confidante”, which will be offering free counseling services to its employees with the help of a counseling firm called 1to1help.net The officials of Patni feel that there is a need of this type of service specially during this type of recession as employees majorly have dilemmas about their career and future and it then becomes the responsibility of the management to come up with a solution to that insecurity and anxiety. According to this initiative, employees can either call up the counseling firm's toll-free number or request for an in-person appointment at a neutral venue. Also, another aspect that Patni is looking into along with this is that of creating next layer of leaders from within the company.
