It provides a detailed info about candidates, with a score according to skill sets, so that companies can make more informed decisions while selecting a resource.

Source of Inspiration: The population growth in India will create more job seekers than jobs in the near future. Companies would eventually look to hire and provide opportunities to skilled candidates. The emphasis on skills is not a driven culture as of now but would eventually become so. Biggest Challenges & Key Learnings: Understanding employees’ expectation and providing them with the necessary infrastructure to build a strong and committed team was a challenge and resolving it was a key learning. The challenge of building a scalable model was resolved by talking to various clients and potential customers. Understanding client needs and pain points, and working around those with an innovative approach was a major learning.

Future of technology in HR: Technology can and is already changing the way HR used to function. The analysis of Big Data can provide HR with insights that can help them gain knowledge about job positions and candidates, and reduce the time for hiring and other functions with greater efficiency. Social Media data, cloud, analytics, and mobile will enable HR to efficiently manage talent, both external as well as internal candidates. Technology will help HR to get rid of bias and subjectivity and ensure impartial decisions to improve and facilitate talent management.

Message for the HR community: The HR community should embrace technology which will act as a catalyst while reducing time and saving cost significantly.
