Technology firms look beyond IIMs for recruitment

With economic scenario gradually improving, top technology companies are now beginning to look beyond the traditional grazing fields to recruit personnel for various operations in their organization. The tech companies are now approaching mid-tier business schools looking for talented professionals to meet their human resource needs. The list of hirers includes giants like Infosys and Wipro which are said to be offering anything between Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum to the young graduates from these colleges. According to industry experts, the IT and Technology sector has witnessed in surge in outsourcing contracts in recent months which is likely to result in increased hiring in coming days.
