ADP appoints Gaurav Rathee as Head of HR for Global Shared Services International

ADP names Gaurav Rathee as Divisional Vice President and HR Head for India and the Philippines, strengthening leadership across its Global Shared Services operations.
ADP has appointed Gaurav Rathee as Divisional Vice President and Head of Human Resources for its Global Shared Services International operations in India and the Philippines, strengthening the company’s leadership bench as it accelerates its workforce and capability agenda across key markets.
The company said Rathee will oversee HR strategy for more than 15,000 associates across multiple locations. His appointment comes as global shared services organisations face growing pressure to scale talent, embed digital capability and strengthen leadership pipelines.
Rathee brings over 25 years of experience across human resources, transformation and people development. His career began in 1999 with the Indian Army’s Parachute Regiment Special Forces, where he led high-pressure operations and oversaw training, welfare and performance management. ADP said this early grounding in resilience and people leadership has shaped his approach to building strong, purpose-led teams.
Before joining ADP, Rathee held senior roles at Aon and Genpact, where he worked across technology, analytics, operations, growth functions and global transformation teams. His remit at ADP includes strengthening the company’s culture of collaboration, nurturing next-generation talent and reinforcing its positioning as an employer of choice.
Vijay Vemulapalli, General Manager and Managing Director for Global Shared Services International, said Rathee’s leadership experience and strategic mindset will be critical as the organisation scales. “His extensive leadership experience, strategic mindset, and deep commitment to people development make him an invaluable addition to our Global Shared Services International leadership team,” he said.
Rathee said he is focused on amplifying ADP’s strengths across India and the Philippines. “Workforces today want more than roles — they want purpose, growth, and energy. ADP already has the foundation, and I’m delighted to help amplify that energy,” he said.
Rathee holds degrees and certifications from Delhi University, IMT Ghaziabad, XLRI Jamshedpur and MDI Gurgaon, reflecting a sustained focus on leadership and HR capability development.
As ADP continues to build digital capability and expand its global shared services footprint, the appointment underscores its commitment to scaling talent, strengthening culture and advancing workforce excellence across international operations.
