AkzoNobel appoints Head of HR for India Sub-continent

Dutch multinational, AkzoNobel has appointed Anushree Singh as Head of HR, India Sub-continent, effective from 19th June, 2019. 

Singh will report to Marieke Bos-van den Berg, Human Resources Director South Asia, and will be working closely with Rajiv Rajgopal, Managing Director of AkzoNobel India. 

She has14 years of experience in HR and business partnering, transformation management, strategic workforce planning, and talent development are some of her strengths. .

Before joining AkzoNobel, Singh was working with Avery Dennison as HR Director for Label and Graphic Materials. She spent 5 years in this organization. Singh had joined the California-based company in July 2014 as HR Business Partner, Commercial & Enabling Functions, South Asia. After almost 3 years, she was promoted to the role of Director HR, Label & Graphic Materials, South Asia. In Avery Dennison, she led HR for Commercial, Finance, Shared services & R&D functions and Talent Management, Management Trainee Program, Performance Management, Learning & OE portfolio for South Asia Team. 

An alumnus of DU, Singh has also worked with companies like Aircel, Xerox, Standard Chartered Bank, and Aditya Birla Group. 

In Standard Chartered Bank, she worked as Associate Manager-HR and gained experience in Regional HR operation, Recruitment, Performance Management System, and Employee Engagement. 

Now with all these years of experience, how Singh drives the people agenda for AkzoNobel in India is to look forward to. As she works closely with MD Rajgopal, she will understand the business and the vision for the company and accordingly create talent strategies that enhance's AkzoNobel's growth in India Sub-continent.
