Alvarez & Marsal names Dev Ramchandani executive director in India

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Dev Ramchandani as Executive Director within its Business Transformation Services practice. Based in Pune, Ramchandani will spearhead the firm's efforts to advance industrial transformation and operations advisory offerings, with a strategic focus on manufacturing-led sectors.

In his new role, Ramchandani will be responsible for scaling A&M’s capabilities in operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) integration, digital operations, and lean performance. His mandate includes delivering measurable impact for clients navigating complex industrial challenges, particularly in sectors such as automotive, metals and mining, healthcare and life sciences, and chemicals.

With over two decades of industry experience, Ramchandani specializes in the inception and delivery of large-scale transformation programs aligned with organizational vision and strategy. He has a proven track record in bridging core manufacturing operations with advanced digital strategies, applying unique OT and IT perspectives to enterprise transformation.

Prior to joining A&M, Ramchandani held leadership roles at Tata Motors, McKinsey & Company, and Hitachi, where he led critical factory-floor and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. His expertise encompasses operational excellence, lean methodologies, and industrial digital transformation.
