ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, has hired Murali Sahoo as the Head of Human Resources - Mines.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of HR, Mines at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India!” Sahoo confirmed his appointment in a LinkedIn post. 

Sahoo who holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University, comes with more than 17 years of experience in the field of HR management, industrial relation, administration, sales & marketing, operation, store & purchase management, budgeting & financial management, IT function, civil & other maintenance works in mining and manufacturing.

Before joining ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, Sahoo worked with Jayaswal Neco Industries as Head of Training & Development (T&D), Talent Management (TM), Organisation Development (OD) and Systems.

He also worked with ASG Eye Hospital as Corporate Head – HR and Asian Heart Institute and Research Centre. Sahoo started his career in 2006 with Aditya Birla Group as Dy. Manager-Human Resources also worked with Reliance Cement and UltraTech Cement.
