Retail veteran Amisha Jain to lead Arvind Fashions as MD & CEO for a five-year term, following the completion of Shailesh Chaturvedi’s tenure in January 2026.

Arvind Fashions has appointed Amisha Jain as its next Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a period of five years, starting 13 August 2025, the company said in an official filing with the stock exchanges. The appointment marks a key leadership transition as current MD & CEO Shailesh Chaturvedi is set to conclude his five-year term on 31 January 2026.

Jain, who currently serves as Managing Director and Senior Vice President for South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe at Levi Strauss, brings a diverse portfolio of leadership experience in the consumer, retail, and technology sectors. During her three-year stint at Levi’s, Jain oversaw consistent double-digit growth in India and played a pivotal role in consolidating the brand’s leadership in the denim and broader apparel space.

Her appointment signals Arvind Fashions’ intent to drive innovation and expansion in a highly competitive retail landscape. Known for her strategic thinking and customer-centric leadership style, Jain previously served as CEO of Zivame, where she led the brand’s repositioning into a leading player in the intimatewear and loungewear segment.

An alumna of INSEAD and a former consultant at McKinsey, Jain also brings prior experience from Arvind Group, Nike India, Motorola, and other global brands, making her well-versed in both multinational and Indian retail operations.

Shailesh Chaturvedi, who has led the company since 2021, will complete his term on 31 January 2026. Under his leadership, Arvind Fashions focused on sharpening its brand portfolio and streamlining operations. The early announcement of his successor is expected to ensure a smooth transition in leadership over the coming months.

Arvind Fashions houses a range of well-known lifestyle and fashion brands in India, including US Polo Assn., Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Flying Machine. The company has undergone several rounds of restructuring in recent years to refocus on high-growth, high-margin segments within the branded apparel market.

Jain’s appointment comes at a time when India’s fashion retail sector is experiencing strong post-pandemic recovery and renewed investor interest, driven by rising consumer demand and digital expansion. Her experience in both legacy and digital-first retail environments is likely to play a key role in navigating this dynamic environment.

The transition is subject to shareholder approval and other regulatory processes, Arvind Fashions added in its statement.
