BCT Group appoints Priya Venkataraman as group CHRO and admin head

Bahwan CyberTek Group has appointed Priya Venkataraman as its group chief human resources officer and head of administration, strengthening its leadership team as the technology services firm scales its global operations.

The appointment was announced by the company, which said Venkataraman will lead the group’s global HR strategy and administration services, with a focus on building scalable people practices to support growth and transformation across its services, consulting and products businesses.

Venkataraman joins Bahwan CyberTek from Indium, where she most recently served as senior vice president for human resources. In that role, she led HR strategy for a high-growth digital engineering organisation with more than 2,000 employees across India, the United States and the United Kingdom, supporting business expansion and culture-building efforts.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has held senior HR leadership roles across multiple industries, including stints at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, Shell, Standard Chartered, Infosys and Ford Business Services. Her experience covers sectors such as information technology, automotive, oil and gas, and banking, with a strong emphasis on workforce transformation and leadership development.

At Bahwan CyberTek, her mandate includes aligning talent, culture and organisational design with enterprise goals as the group deepens its presence across international markets and expands its digital and consulting capabilities.

The appointment comes at a time when technology and services companies are placing greater emphasis on leadership depth, workforce scalability and global people strategies to navigate slowing demand in some markets and accelerating digital transformation in others.
