Freshworks Inc has appointed Sandie Overtveld as the Senior Vice President for its Asia-Pacific, Japan (APJ) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) markets.

In his new role, Sandie, a former Zendesk executive, will oversee Freshworks' growth efforts in these regions and work with brands to help them keep customers and employees at the center of business.

A recognised thought leader and an expert in digital transformation, Sandie comes with an experience of more than 30 years. He has a proven track record of growth and portfolio strategy development and execution in complex global matrix organisations like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, and Zendesk, and most recently served as the APJ leader of WalkMe Inc.

“We’re thrilled to have Sandie onboard to drive Freshworks business growth in the APJ and MEA regions,” said Pradeep Rathinam, acting Chief Revenue Officer at Freshworks.

“Sandie’s rich regional know-how of the digital transformation experience can help Freshworks deliver even more value to businesses in these regions -- showing them that legacy software is a thing of the past and easy-to-use / implement business software is the future for delighting both customers and employees alike.”
