Gensol Group names Kanv Garg as the President and Chief Growth Officer

Gensol Group, a global construction engineering company, has appointed Kanv Garg as their President and Chief Growth Officer with immediate effect. 

Assuming his new role, Garg will drive growth and expansion initiatives leading the formulation and execution of wide medium to long-term strategies for the Group. He will be collaborating closely with the founders and CXOs, cultivating harmonious ties within both established and novel domains. His role will be substantial in navigating the organisation's sustainable growth.

Garg holds over 18 years of experience in the clean energy and mobility sector. In his previous roles, he held key positions including, Director of Corporate Strategy for the New Mobility Business at Petromin Corp., Director and Lead for Energy eMobility MENA and India at EY. He also served as an Energy & Investment Advisor to various entities encompassing national and sub-national governmental bodies such as the World Bank, and Planning Commission of India, as well as, SunEdison, and Evalueserve.

Garg’s experience in the dynamic cross-section of energy and mobility sectors will be instrumental in addressing contemporary challenges faced by CXOs related to strategy and implementation, program design, investments, and partnerships & collaboration. He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and a Bachelor of Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

In July, Gensol Group appointed Kamaljeet Kaur as their Group Chief People Officer, she was formerly with Sterlite Power as a whole-time director and CHRO.
