Lyric.ai hires Srilakshmi Kesari to head its HR function in India

Lyric.ai names HR veteran Srilakshmi Kesari to lead its India people strategy as the company expands its regional presence.
Lyric.ai has appointed Srilakshmi Kesari as vice president and country HR head for India, strengthening its leadership bench as the company prepares to scale its presence in the region. The appointment was announced this week as the Bengaluru-based firm moves to embed a more structured people strategy into its next phase of growth.
Kesari brings close to two decades of experience across human resources, talent engagement and organisational development. Before joining Lyric.ai, she led talent engagement and development at a large IT services company, overseeing HR operations across global delivery centres and guiding initiatives in diversity, inclusion, learning and employee experience.
At Lyric.ai, Kesari will be responsible for designing people-centric policies, sharpening the employer brand and aligning talent development with business priorities. The company said her remit includes building an inclusive and supportive workplace culture, with a particular focus on learning, performance and continuous improvement.
In a public statement marking her appointment, Kesari said she was committed to shaping a workplace that fosters growth, collaboration and employee well-being. Her arrival indicates Lyric.ai’s intent to position HR as a core pillar of its strategy in India, as competition for experienced technology talent continues to intensify.
Industry observers note that early-stage and growth-stage AI firms are increasingly investing in senior HR leadership to support workforce expansion, capability building and culture design. With Kesari leading the India HR function, Lyric.ai is expected to deepen its focus on structured talent practices as it scales its operations in the country.
