Madhuri Mehta joins Hero MotoCorp as new CHRO

Mehta succeeds Rachna Kumar, who stepped down from the role earlier this year to join TVS Motors as Vice President of HR
Hero MotoCorp has named Madhuri Mehta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective October 1, 2025.

Mehta has been serving as the CHRO of Emaar India for over three years now. She brings over two decades of HR leadership experience to her new role. She will lead Hero MotoCorp’s global people strategy, culture transformation, and capability-building initiatives as it continues expanding its international presence.
At Emaar India, Mehta has fostered a strong, people-first culture driven by leadership and embraced across the organization, helping the company maintain one of the lowest attrition rates in the real estate industry i.e. 15% (2024) compared to the average of 23–24%. “From the CEO and leadership team to every employee, there’s a collective effort to nurture our people,” she shared in an exclusive interview with us.
Prior to Emaar India, Mehta served Dalmia Bharat Group as Head of HR and Bharti Airtel as Senior HR Manager.

On the academic front, Mehta holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Fore School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
Mehta succeeds Rachna Kumar, who stepped down from the role earlier this year to join TVS Motors as Vice President of HR. Kumar had been appointed CHRO in January last year, succeeding Mike Clarke, who served as Chief Operating Officer and CHRO for over four years before moving on to become CHRO at APCOA Group in Germany.
