Prabhanjan Kulkarni takes over as CHRO at Scripbox

Former redBus HR leader joins Scripbox with a mandate to strengthen talent strategy and build a scalable, people-centric organisation.
Scripbox has appointed Prabhanjan Kulkarni as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing in a seasoned HR and technology leader as the wealth management platform seeks to scale its operations and deepen organisational capability. His move follows the completion of a nearly seven-year tenure at redBus, where he led multiple HR transformation initiatives.
Kulkarni joins Scripbox with more than two decades of experience spanning software engineering, HR shared services, people operations and workforce strategy. He began his career in 2001 as a software engineer at Dotcom Software before transitioning into people management and HR leadership roles.
A graduate of Bangalore University and the Asian Institute of Management, Kulkarni spent almost six years at Infosys BPO, where he handled HR shared services, solution design and consulting assignments. His cross-functional background later positioned him to drive digital-led HR shifts at redBus, which he joined in 2019.
At Scripbox, the leader is expected to help the fintech strengthen its talent strategy as it accelerates growth in the competitive wealth management sector. Company leaders have indicated that his mandate includes building a scalable, people-centric organisation, enhancing employee experience and supporting capability-building across teams.
The appointment comes at a time when digital financial platforms are expanding rapidly and competing for specialised talent. Analysts say HR leadership will play a critical role in shaping culture, boosting retention and aligning workforce strategy with long-term business goals.
