Prosenjit Mukherjee joins Kalamandir Jewellers as CHRO

Veteran HR leader confirms new role at luxury jewellery retailer in LinkedIn post.
Prosenjit Mukherjee has joined Kalamandir Jewellers Limited as Chief Human Resources Officer, he announced in a LinkedIn post in October.
Mukherjee wrote: “I am happy to begin my journey with Kalamandir Jewellers Limited as Chief Human Resources Officer. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to collaborating with the leadership team and contributing to the growth and development of our most valuable asset – our people.”
According to his LinkedIn profile, Mukherjee has more than 20 years of experience in human resources across IT, healthcare, manufacturing, market research, BPM/KPO and luxury retail.
From July 2019 to September 2025, he was Chief Human Resources Officer at SRKay Consulting Group, covering India, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Australia and Canada. During this time, he was responsible for global HR strategy, succession planning and governance frameworks.
Between March 2014 and June 2019, he worked as CHRO at Azure Knowledge Corporation, a global knowledge process outsourcing company. He scaled operations across multiple countries and implemented HR practices that supported international certifications and industry recognitions, his profile shows.
Prior to that, he was Head of HR at KocharTech from 2013 to 2014, where he oversaw policy, recruitment and performance management.
Mukherjee began his HR career at Aegis Limited, part of the Essar Group, where he worked between 2006 and 2013. He rose from customer care representative to Head of Talent Acquisition, managing large-scale hiring and HR operations across geographies.
His LinkedIn profile notes that Mukherjee has been recognised as Global Laureate in HR (2025), Most Iconic HR-Tech Leader (2024) and Top HR Innovation Leader Asia-Pacific (2023).
He is also a member of professional bodies including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the National HRD Network (NHRD) and the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI). He contributes to the Harvard Business Review online forum.
Mukherjee holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Annamalai University. He also attended a management development programme in HRD and learning at XLRI Jamshedpur in 2010.
Kalamandir Jewellers is a luxury jewellery retailer based in India. The company has been expanding its presence in organised retail. Mukherjee’s appointment as Chief Human Resources Officer is effective October 2025, as per his LinkedIn announcement.
