Raghav Datta joins HONO as COO and Head of Human Resources

HR tech firm HONO has appointed Raghav Datta as its Chief Operating Officer and Head of Human Resources, the company announced this week. Datta will oversee HONO’s operations and people strategy as the firm strengthens its position in the HR technology and employee experience space.

According to a company statement, Datta brings more than 25 years of experience across human resources, organisational strategy, and operations. Before joining HONO, he served as chief executive officer at WPPL Consultancy Limited in Hong Kong. His earlier career spans senior leadership roles at Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, and Omerta Consulting, where he led large-scale HR transformation and rewards advisory mandates.

Datta, a graduate of St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, has been recognised for his work in driving people-centric growth models and building agile organisations across Asia. His track record includes developing integrated HR frameworks and advising multinational clients on talent, compensation, and organisational design.

His appointment signals HONO’s intent to deepen its leadership bench and expand its influence in digital HR solutions, an increasingly competitive domain shaped by AI-led automation and analytics. Datta’s dual portfolio—spanning both operations and human capital—positions him to align business and workforce priorities amid rapid growth.
