Randstad Singapore appoints Maxim van Damme as Country Director

In his new role, Van Damme will manage the 120-staffed unit of Randstad Singapore, where he will also oversee specialised permanent and contracting talent recruitment business.

Randstad Singapore appointed Maxim van Damme as the company’s Country Director in a move to drive growth and build sustained relationships with its customers, talent, and employees in Singapore.

In his new role, Van Damme will manage the 120-staffed unit of Randstad Singapore, where he will also oversee specialised permanent and contracting talent recruitment business.

Commenting on his new appointment, Van Damme said, “We are on a quest to become the world’s most equitable and specialised talent company, and our operations in Singapore play a critical role in our efforts to achieve this global ambition. I’m confident that we’ll be able to achieve greater success and make a positive impact on the lives of working people in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.”

Earlier, he held the position of Managing Director of Strategic Client Solutions at Yacht, where he was responsible for the growth of large and strategic customers. In 2022, Yacht saw a 20 per cent year-on-year growth led by a 38-strong account workforce.

Van Damme co-founded Yacht Trainees shortly after joining Randstad as a management trainee in 2013.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
