Varun Beverages Ltd, the flagship listed company of RJ Corporation, has announced the appointment of Rohit Vishal Gupta as the Chief Human Resources Officer,

The appointment of Rohit as CHRO has been recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approved by the Board of Directors of the company.

Rohit recently stepped down as Wipro’s CHRO and Global Vice President of Talent Management and Leadership Development, where he served for over 2 years. In his new role, Rohit brings over 23 years of core HR expertise. Previously, he served as CHRO at Wipro GE Healthcare South Asia and HR Director at GEBEL, Head of CSR, and Head of Education Solutions. He also worked with ITC Ltd as a CHRO for over 17 years.

His core expertise encompasses Talent Management, Strategic HRM, Industrial Relations, and Employee Engagement across various functions, including Sales and Manufacturing, providing businesses the tools to scale up globally.

On the academic front, Rohit is a certified coach for leadership development, a Postgraduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and HRM from TISS, and a BSc Hons. graduate in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Delhi.
