SAP appoints Bhrigu Joshi as director - global people initiatives strategy

Prior to the new role, Joshi served as director - HRBP, technology & innovation board Area at SAP and led the HR business partnering for technology and innovation board area of SAP in India & Singapore.

SAP has appointed Bhrigu Joshi as director - global people initiatives strategy and regional Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) lead, people initiatives.

In this role Joshi will lead the global strategy for the newly formed people initiatives function at SAP. Additionally, he is also the regional director for people initiatives in the APJ region.

Prior to the new role, Joshi served as director - HRBP, technology & innovation board area at SAP and led the HR business partnering for technology and innovation board area of SAP in India & Singapore, supporting more than 1700 employees (all developers) and 10 CXOs. 

He is also the co-lead for Future of Work for SAP in the APJ region.

A well-rounded HR professional with experience in HR business partnering, talent acquisition, rewards, performance management, Learning and OD, Joshi has been identified among top 16 Young HR Leaders in India by People Matters and DDI in 2015. 

A well published author on subjects like leadership behaviour transformation, post-merger integration and creating an optimised organisation, he has also been identified as India’s 40under40 in HR by Jombay in 2018. 

Joshi is a visiting faculty in institutions such as TISS, IMI, SOIL and Fore School of Management.
