Sterlite Power appoints Godrej’s Ruhie Pande as Chief Human Resources Officer

Sterlite Power has appointed Ruhie Pande as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer with immediate effect. She will oversee the HR division including strategy, talent, and culture, alongside the group’s Managing Director Pratik Agarwal. 

Assuming her new role, Ruhie brings over 20 years of HR leadership expertise. She has core experience encompassing various sectors including financial services, real estate, fashion retail, information technology and FMCG. Prior to her appointment, she served Godrej Capital as CHRO, Kaya Limited in the capacity of Vice President and Head of HR and Training, and Marico as Head of HR. 

Pande is an accomplished HR leader and has received several awards and recognition including, CHRO Asia’s 100 Most Influential HR Leaders in India. 

Welcoming Pande in this leadership role, Agarwal said, “We are excited to welcome Ruhie Pande as the Group CHRO. Ruhie’s commitment to excellence, her domain expertise, and her people-first approach align well with our core values.”

Pande announced her exit from Godrej Capital on LinkedIn stating, "It’s time to say adieu, as I hang up my boots at Godrej Capital & the Godrej Group. It’s been a journey that’s been nothing short of extraordinary. From my time as CHRO with Godrej Properties, and then Godrej Fund Management and finally with Godrej Capital as employee #1, I am grateful for the tremendous exposure, rich experiences, and learning I have received. The opportunity to contribute to shaping the culture and values of these organizations has been invaluable. As I embark on a new chapter in my career, I am filled with deep gratitude for having been a part of a prestigious institution like Godrej Group."
