Sundaram AMC appoints industry veteran Anand Radhakrishnan as CEO
Sundaram Asset Management, a leading finance and investment company, has announced the appointment of Anand Radhakrishnan as its new CEO.
In his new role, Radhakrishnan will succeed Sunil Subramaniam, who is set to retire in June 2024. Sunil has served the asset management company in several leadership roles, including most recently as Managing Director and CEO, during his 19 years of service. Radhakrishnan has assumed his responsibilities with immediate effect and is working closely with Sunil to ensure a smooth transition.
In his second stint with Sundaram AMC, Radhakrishnan brings more than three decades of industry expertise to his new role. He most recently served at Franklin Templeton India as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for around 20 years. Prior to that, he worked with Sundaram AMC for over eight years as a Fund Manager. He began his career with SBI Funds Management Ltd as Deputy Manager.
On the academic front, Radhakrishnan holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Anna University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.
