A Tata veteran Pranav Kumar has been appointed as the new CHRO of Tata Motors-Jamshedpur.

Tata Motors-Jamshedpur announced the appointment of Pranav Kumar as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). A Tata Group veteran, Pranav has been with the company since 2008, most recently leading HR operations for heavy commercial vehicles in Pune, overseeing 20,000+ employees and driving HR, employee relations (ER), skill development, and sustainability initiatives.

Expressing his excitement, Pranav shared on LinkedIn, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Tata Motors – Jamshedpur.”

With over 23 years of experience across Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh, Pranav specializes in HR and ER strategy, organisational development, culture building, recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement. He has a proven track record of implementing zero-cost initiatives and managing multiple plants.
