TVS Motor Company announced at its board meeting today the elevation of Sudarshan Venu as managing director of the company, effective May 5, 2022. Venu has played a pivotal role in the company's growth in India and key international markets, including Asia, Africa, and more recently Europe.

Adecco Group appoints former Sodexo boss Denis Machuel as chief executive officer

The Adecco Group, the world’s leading talent advisory and solutions company, today announced that it has named Denis Machuel as its new chief executive officer (CEO), to succeed Alain Dehaze on July 1, 2022. The transition will take place following a month-long handover period during June.

Randstad RiseSmart appoints Joel Paul as Managing Director for Asia-Pacific and Japan

Randstad RiseSmart, a firm that specialises in work life coaching and career transitions, has announced the appointment of Joel Paul as Managing Director for Asia-Pacific and Japan. He will also work as a coaching veteran to lead IMEA and APAC regions. The appointment marks a feather in the cap for Paul, who joined the firm as regional operations manager in 2008 and has now risen to the role of MD - APJ. Practo, an integrated healthcare company, has announced the elevation of its long-term executive and growth head, Siddhartha Nihalani to the position of co-founder. Nihalani has been associated with Practo since its inception and has been a driving force behind the technology, growth and business strategy. With this elevation, he will accompany Shashank ND and Abhinav Lal, the other co-founders, who started the company back in 2008.

CIA names Nand Mulchandani as its first-ever chief technology officer

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the first line of defense for the United States, has announced the appointment of Nand Mulchandani to serve as its first-ever chief technology officer (CTO). With more than 25 years’ experience working in Silicon Valley as well as the Department of Defense (DoD), Indian-origin Mulchandani brings substantial private sector, startup, and government expertise to CIA.
