CIA names Nand Mulchandani as its first-ever chief technology officer

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the first line of defense for the United States, has announced the appointment of Nand Mulchandani to serve as its first-ever chief technology officer (CTO). With more than 25 years’ experience working in Silicon Valley as well as the Department of Defense (DoD), Indian-origin Mulchandani brings substantial private sector, startup, and government expertise to CIA.
