Mark & Spencers India appoints Ritesh Mishra as new Managing Director

Retail behemoth Marks & Spencer(M&S) India has announced the appointment of Ritesh Mishra as Managing Director for Marks & Spencer Reliance India Pvt Ltd. He was previously in the role of Head of Operations & Property. Taking over from Munson, Mishra would be tasked with overseeing accelerated growth of M&S across India, steering from the India support office in Gurgaon, Haryana. He would continue to report to Munson.   

London Stock Exchange Group appoints Ranjit Pawar as new head of data & analytics, South Asia

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a global financial markets infrastructure and data business, has announced the appointment of Ranjit Pawar as managing director of the data & analytics business for LSEG in South Asia. With over 20 years of experience, Pawar has previously held roles at Refinitiv of sales director for South Asia and market development head for enterprise solutions in ASEAN. Prior to joining Refinitiv, he worked with leading companies in the digital content space.

upGrad for Business strengthens its leadership team

upGrad for Business (uGB), the B2B arm of Asia’s higher edtech major upGrad,  has announced the appointment of Ketaki Kadekar as director – customer success and growth and Dolphy Dias as director – sales. They will be based out of upGrad for Business’ Mumbai office and will be reporting to Minaxi Indra, president - upGrad For Business.

SG Analytics appointed Sid Banerjee as the new CEO

SG Analytics has announced the appointment of Sid Banerjee as the firm’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sushant Gupta, Founder, SG Analytics will now take on the role of Founder & Chairman. Sid comes to SG Analytics with three decades of diverse experience in growing successful businesses. Having started his career at ITC Limited, Sid has led IHS Markit as CEO, and Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank as Managing Director. Very recently, Sid was part of the advisory board at Bridgei2i solutions, which was acquired by Accenture in November 2021.

Pushp Kumar Joshi takes rein as new Chairman and Managing Director at Hindustan Petroleum

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) have announced that Pushp Kumar Joshi has taken over the role of the new Chairman and Managing Director. Prior to this, Joshi was HR Director at the company and was serving as the interim head in the absence of a formal order from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
