Third Wave Coffee has appointed Sandeep Sinha as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The company announced the appointment in October 2025 through an official LinkedIn post.
According to the company, Sinha will oversee its people and culture strategy, with responsibility for strengthening organisational foundations, shaping learning-led practices, and building a high-performance culture to support the next phase of growth.
Sinha has more than 19 years of experience in human resources and learning and development. He has worked with several large retail and quick service restaurant (QSR) brands including Spencer’s Retail, Lifestyle at Landmark Group in the Middle East, and Domino’s Pizza India at Jubilant FoodWorks.
Most recently, he served as Head of Human Resources at Spencer’s Retail, where he partnered with the CEO and promoters on a business turnaround strategy. According to Spencer’s disclosures, he helped implement new HR policies, performance management frameworks, and digital learning programmes, while contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
Before that, he spent almost a decade with Landmark Group’s Lifestyle division in Dubai, leading HR operations across six Middle Eastern countries. Earlier in his career, he worked at Domino’s Pizza India, holding multiple HR roles supporting a workforce of more than 20,000 employees.
Sinha holds a postgraduate diploma in human resources management from the Management Education Research Institute, New Delhi. He has also completed the Future Leaders certification at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in HRM (Emerging CHRO programme) at XLRI Jamshedpur.
He is also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) coach.
Third Wave Coffee stated that Sinha will lead initiatives around culture transformation, talent development, leadership effectiveness and employee engagement. The company said his appointment is part of its strategy to build organisational capabilities as it expands operations in India.
Founded in 2016, the Bengaluru-based coffee chain has expanded across major Indian cities in recent years. Industry reports note the company is competing in a fast-growing café segment alongside international and domestic brands.
