Tilaknagar Industries appoints Vijay Rekhi as chairman
Tilaknagar Industries Ltd, India’s fourth largest distiller,has appointed Vijay K. Rekhi as chairman of the board of advisers with effect from 1 May, the company said on Friday. Rekhi was once president and managing director of Vijay Mallya-promoted United Spirits Ltd and associated with the UB Group for over 40 years. The company has also announced the appointment of Ratneshwar Prasad as a member of its board of advisers. Prasad comes with 43 years of career in taxation, law, competition and international taxation and had served as chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
