Manish Bharti, who joined UiPath India during its inception, has now been promoted to the role of President for the India region. With a key focus on scaling UiPath by overseeing all business and technology units within the company’s India operations, he takes on this new role from today.

Bharti had joined UiPath during its inception to Sales function and then later served as UiPath’s Senior Vice President of Global Accounts. Now as the President for the India region he will be responsible for accelerating business growth for UiPath in India. The focus will be aimed at scaling RPA implementations across diverse industry verticals - Banking & Financial Services, Technology, manufacturing, retail and healthcare leading engagements with global Fortune 500 companies for deeper adoption of RPA. 

In addition to promoting Bharti, UiPath has also named Raghunath Subramanian, previously CEO for UiPath India, as Non-Executive Chairman of UiPath Entities in India.

UiPath in recent times has seen unparalleled growth and now the company is planning to end 2019 at $300 Mn in annual recurring revenue. The company has said to be cultivated the world’s largest RPA community exceeding 5,000 customers, including more than 50 percent of the Fortune 500 and eight of the Fortune. While the company has a global focus, it considers India as one of the key markets for its business. In fact, India serves as a strategic location and investment for the company and houses UiPath’s second largest engineering development center. 

Dines believes Subramanian and the entire team in India have been able to build developer and academic momentum for the UiPath platform. He feels that Subramanian has been able to champion India as the RPA talent pool of the world. Now, as the Non-Executive Chairman of UiPath Entities in India, he is expected to continue to evangelize the power of automation to help the company deliver long-term sustainable returns for their customers.

With global form automation software market valued at $7.09 Bn in 2018 and its growth pegged at 17.97 percent to touch $26.03 Bn by 2026, UiPath has many opportunities to grow. However, it competes with other players in the market, who are also constantly investing in growing their capabilities. For instance, recently, Automation Anywhere, one of the leading San Jose-based organizations in RPA, completed the acqui-hire process of Cathyos Labs, a product engineering startup that would enable the organization’s product innovation and expansion.
