Wakefit.co announced new appointments in key leadership roles, defining 2020 as the year of growth Kumar Gaurav joins the Bengaluru-based startup as CTO, and Umanath Nayak as Head – HR, 

The expansion of Wakefit.co’s leadership team is in keeping with the company’s 2020 vision of expanding into newer markets, accelerating growth and driving product innovation. With this, the company is on track to clock INR 220 crore in FY 2020 and continue its fast-paced growth trajectory in FY 2020-21 .

Wakefit.co is counting on the rich experience and dynamism of the new leadership to drive its 600+ team into the next phase of growth. Here’s a brief profile of each of the key leadership team members. 

The company has roped in Umanath Nayak, Head – HR, Armed with over 13 years of cross domain industry experience in the HR domain, Umanath will be managing all HR functions – from talent acquisition and talent management to HR analytics and business partnering. His prior work experience with diverse businesses, such as Global Franchise Architects, Papa Johns, Gionee mobile and FreshMenu, is expected to bring in agility to the company and its workforce. 

The company has also appointed Kumar Gaurav as the new CTO. He will lead the technology innovations and data science initiatives at Wakefit.co, He will focus on strengthening the technology infrastructure within Wakefit.co and bring in innovation to solve business problems like supply chain management, operational efficiency, customer experience elements etc. Gaurav brings along a strong track record of over 15 years in building scalable products from scratch in enterprise security, mobility and gaming. He has previously founded a startup called CityXfer and has also worked in companies like Trilogy/DevFactory, Synopsys and Atrenta.
