Xpheno, the prominent staffing brand, recently appointed Ramakrishna Bhagavan as their new Chief Financial Officer. Based at their headquarters in Bengaluru, Bhagavan brings with him an extensive background of 25 years in both domestic and global banking experience.

His addition to the leadership team at Xpheno is set to enhance their financial expertise and drive strategic growth.

Kamal Karanth, the Co-founder of Xpheno, reacted to the appointment and said, “We are glad to welcome Bhagavan to Xpheno at this important growth phase of our journey. Banking Industry has shades of similar processes. With his extensive banking experiences across marquee brands, we believe Bhagavan will bring the financial expertise critical to our operational excellence.”

In discussing the intricacies of the staffing industry, Karanth went on to emphasise that “Ramakrishna Bhagavan’s international exposure fits into our next wave of growth as we expand into Germany, UK and USA in the later this year. As we venture into new frontiers and partnerships for our non-linear growth, Bhagavan’s proven experience in expansions and passion for customer success will give us scale and speed.”

With a remarkable 25-year career in the banking industry, Ramki brings extensive expertise gained from prestigious institutions both in India and internationally. Having held leadership positions at renowned banks such as HSBC, ABN Amro, Kotak Mahindra, IDFC Bank, and Mauritius Bank, Ramki's experience spans various facets of the industry.

Notably, he specialises in consumer banking and has a keen interest in digital banking and fintech. Prior to joining Xpheno, Ramki had been actively involved in advisory roles with fintech startups.

“I am excited to join the Xpheno team. Staffing is a new industry to me. However, I believe it’s also an advantage to bring an outsider's perspective on the growth curve that Xpheno is on. Staffing Industry context has become akin to financial services, and I believe I can grow on the People, Processes, Technology, and Data orientation Xpheno has laid its foundation on. I’m looking forward to this journey with Xpheno to enable the international expansion and an eventual IPO,” said Ramki.

Xpheno, a specialist in staffing, is currently in its seventh year of operation, primarily focusing on the technology sector. Its headquarters is located in Bangalore, and it also has offices in Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi. With a widespread presence, Xpheno has employees in over 285 districts and has placed more than 12,500 specialists in various roles.

The company has a workforce of 3,000 employees in India and deploys approximately 550 IT professionals every month. Xpheno caters to key client segments such as IT products, startups, engineering research and development (ER&D), consulting, and global captives of international enterprises. Notably, Xpheno's monthly active jobs reports are widely recognised as influential data points that significantly impact talent-related decisions made by enterprises.
