Dabur India elevates Mohit Malhotra to Global CEO

Malhotra previously served as CEO of Dabur International (based in Dubai) before taking charge as CEO – India Business and later as CEO of the company in April 2019.

Dabur India has elevated Mohit Malhotra to the role of Global Chief Executive Officer, the company announced in an exchange filing on Tuesday. 


"we wish to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company vide approval granted on February 17 2026.. we have redesignated Mr. Mohit Malhotra, Whole Time Director & Chief Executive Officer as Whole Time Director & Global Chief Executive Officer w.e.f. February 17, 2026,"

Malhotra, who previously served as Group CEO and is a Whole-time Director on the board, has been redesignated with effect from February 17.


The move signals a sharper global focus for the FMCG major as it looks to further strengthen its international playbook alongside its strong India business, according to reports.


A management graduate from University of Pune, Malhotra also holds an Executive Master’s in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He joined Dabur as a Management Trainee in 1994 and has since held several leadership roles across marketing and sales.


Over the years, Malhotra has served as CEO of Dabur International (based in Dubai) before taking charge as CEO – India Business and later as CEO of the company in April 2019. Under his leadership, Dabur expanded its global footprint and strengthened its position as a transnational consumer products company with presence in more than 100 countries.


Earlier, as business head for MENA and Egypt, he was responsible for topline and bottomline delivery, brand investment planning, profitability oversight, and quarterly sales reviews with country managers and key distributors.


In a related development, Dabur has also appointed industry veteran Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer of its India business, effective April 15, 2026, as part of a senior leadership restructuring aimed at sharpening domestic execution. Bhalla will report for Malhotra as the company exchange filing said.
