Himanshu Chakrawarti quits as CEO of The MobileStore

Himanshu Chakrawarti has quit as CEO of The MobileStore as he is keen to pursue other interests. Chakrawarti stated that he either wants to start his own venture or join a startup in the consumer space. Alok Gupta, who is the President, Sales and Marketing, at Essar Steel will take charge until the time a new CEO is appointed. Chakrawarti has earlier worked for the book retailing chain, Landmark Group.
