Women-led enterprise talent intelligence startup wins AI by HER Global Impact Challenge in New Delhi.

Zeko AI, an enterprise-focused talent intelligence platform, has secured global recognition at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 after being named among the winners of the AI by HER – Global Impact Challenge.

Organisers said the challenge drew participation from more than 50 countries. The wider summit recorded over 15,500 registrations and 4,600 formal applications, with representation from 136 nations and more than 900 startups exhibiting. A total of 28 awards were presented.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Information and Broadcasting, and Railways, presented the awards, which included grants of ₹25 lakhs each.

The AI by HER Global Impact Challenge spotlighted women-led ventures building scalable and inclusive artificial intelligence systems. The recognition places Zeko AI within a growing cohort of startups seeking to move enterprise AI beyond automation and into core decision-making frameworks.

From automation to intelligence

Artificial intelligence in HR has largely focused on streamlining recruitment and screening workflows. Zeko AI’s positioning reflects a broader shift towards structured decision systems that integrate data across business functions.

“AI in enterprises is no longer about automating recruitment,” said Tanvi Jain, 27, co-founder of Zeko AI. “Large enterprises are rethinking how decisions are made. The future lies in structured intelligence, where data supports fairness, alignment and long-term workforce strategy.”

Her co-founder, Samyak Jain, an IIT Delhi alumnus, said enterprises continue to face decision gaps between HR, leadership and business units, particularly in people-intensive sectors such as ITES, BFSI, global capability centres and logistics.

“Our vision is to embed organisational intelligence into workflows so that decision-making becomes measurable, aligned and data-driven,” he said.

According to the company, Zeko AI has facilitated more than 1.5 million minutes of AI-led discussions and interviews in the past year, growing at over 100% quarter-on-quarter. The figures suggest rising enterprise appetite for AI-enabled workforce evaluation systems.

Policy context and industry signal

The India AI Impact Summit focused on democratising access to AI, expanding participation among youth and women, and positioning India as a global leader in AI governance aligned with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

Against that backdrop, the award signals a broader inflection point for enterprise talent intelligence. Organisations are increasingly seeking shared data frameworks between HR and business functions, as well as tools that standardise evaluation and reduce bias in workforce decisions.

Zeko AI’s international profile has also expanded. In 2025, it was selected among the top 20 startups from more than 10,000 applicants in the UAE–India CEPA Council Start-up Series, reflecting growing cross-border interest in enterprise AI solutions originating from India.

As enterprises recalibrate how they manage workforce complexity, the emphasis is shifting from task automation to measurable, aligned and data-led decision systems. Startups operating at that intersection are likely to attract closer scrutiny from both investors and policymakers in the year ahead.
