The partnership aims to help global companies set up and scale GCCs in India by aligning talent strategy with flexible workspace solutions.

Staffing and consulting firm Zyoin Group has partnered with WeWork India to jointly support the hiring, set-up and expansion of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) across India, as multinational companies continue to deepen their offshore presence in the country.

The two firms have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together across the GCC lifecycle, from pilot teams and lean initial operations to large, multi-city expansions, according to a statement from the companies.

Under the partnership, Zyoin Group will bring its recruitment and consulting capabilities to support workforce planning and talent acquisition, while WeWork India will provide flexible workspace solutions tailored to the scale and operating models of GCCs.

The collaboration is aimed at helping global enterprises establish India operations more quickly by integrating workspace strategy with hiring needs, collaboration requirements and the expectations of India’s evolving workforce.

“Flexible workspaces are accelerating GCC expansion by enabling agility and faster scaling while remaining close to talent,” Santosh Martin, chief revenue officer at WeWork India, said in the statement. He added that GCCs are increasingly viewed as strategic extensions of global enterprises rather than back-office units, requiring workplaces that reflect organisational culture, control and compliance needs.

India has emerged as a preferred destination for GCCs, with companies expanding beyond traditional technology and back-office functions into areas such as product engineering, research, analytics and global leadership roles. Industry estimates suggest India hosts more than 1,600 GCCs, employing over 1.6 million professionals, with steady growth expected over the next few years.

As competition for skilled talent intensifies, enterprises are placing greater emphasis on speed to market, employee experience and the ability to scale operations across cities. Partnerships that combine talent expertise with flexible infrastructure are increasingly seen as a way to reduce entry barriers and execution risk.

Zyoin Group and WeWork India said the partnership would focus on supporting companies at different stages of maturity, including those testing India as a location and those looking to expand existing GCC footprints. The two firms did not disclose commercial terms of the agreement.

With global companies continuing to reassess cost structures and operating models, the ability to quickly build teams and infrastructure is expected to remain a key factor in India’s GCC growth story.
