Accenture's chairman and country MD Avinash Vashistha resigns

Vashistha, an Indian outsourcing industry veteran, founded outsourcing advisory firm neoIT in 1999 before joining Accenture as its India MD in January 2011.

Avinash Vashistha, chairman and country managing director of Accenture India, has put in his papers and will serve his term till August end, two people familiar with the development confirmed on Tuesday. Vashistha, an Indian outsourcing industry veteran, founded outsourcing advisory firm neoIT in 1999 before joining Accenture as its India MD in January 2011. At neoIT he advised customers such as Siemens, JP Morgan Chase, ABN Amro, Home Depot, and Stanford University on their offshoring.
