In 2016 when Umang Bedi former MD left Adobe to join Facebook, Kulmeet Bawa took on the role of MD for Adobe India and South Asia. Now after leading the business for 3 years, Bawa has stepped from his role as he moves on to look for other opportunities.

Under Bawa's leadership Adobe has seen its business grow. An ex Army officer, Bawa had shifted to the corporate world as he quit the army in 2002, and pursued MBA in marketing from the Indian School of Business.

Before joining Adobe in 2012, he has also worked with Sun Microsystems and Microsoft, where he headed sales.

Now as Bawa moves on from Adobe India, let's see where he joins next.

While, Bawa looks for more opportunities, Adobe India has also begun their search for a new MD for India and South Asia. Adobe has had two MDs, while Bawa led field operations, Shanmugh Natarajan still continues to lead R&D and products in the country.

As India is said to be company's second largest base after North America, it is a significant geography for the company.
