AirAsia India names Amisha Sethi chief commercial officer
AirAsia (India) Pvt. Ltd, which expects to start operations by the end of this year, has appointed Amisha Sethi as its chief commercial officer, the airline’s chief executive Mittu Chandilya announced Tuesday on Twitter, Mint reported.
Sethi was earlier at smartphone maker BlackBerry and Bharti Airtel Ltd. “I am extremely excited about joining the AirAsia India team. We are absolutely committed to bringing affordable fares with a sharp focus on customer safety and quality of service to the Indian market,” Sethi said in a company statement. Sethi is an executive scholar in marketing and sales management from Kellogg School of Management and an MBA in marketing from Amity Business School, India.
