Bharti Infratel CFO steps down
After working with the Bharti Group for more than fourteen years, the Chief Financial Officer of Bharti Infratel has stepped down from his role.
Announcing about this development, in a media statement, the company said, “S Balasubramanian, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has expressed his intention to explore professional opportunities outside the Bharti Group and has tendered his resignation effective from the closing of the business hours on December 5, 2019.”
The Audit & Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors, while accepting his resignation, placed on record their deep sense of appreciation for the services rendered by him.
Balasubramanian joined Bharti Airtel in the year 2005 as the Principal Finance Officer in Bengaluru. He worked in different roles through his stint, and later, he was the CFO for Bharti Infratel, which is a provider of tower and related infrastructure and on a consolidated basis.
Balasubramanian is a senior industry leader who has worked with companies such as Pepsico India Holdings, Eicher Tractors, and Hutchison Essar.
He is an alumnus of Madurai Kamaraj University and ICAI.
