Ed Cohen joins Amazon as an Executive Development Principal

American e-commerce and cloud computing company Amazon has appointed Ed Cohen to be the Executive Development Principal at the organization. Ed has earned the reputation of leading two companies to become the numero uno in learning & development. 

The prior to joining Amazon, Ed had worked with KRE Consulting as a Senior Change Management consultant for over 3 years. Alongside his stint at KRE Consulting, he also became the Advisory Board Member for Cognician. Ed has worked with several global organizations including Amazon.com, Tech Mahindra, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Among his client have been AON, Yahoo, Western Union, Novo Nordisk, Infosys, Prudential, and Mercer Consulting. A veteran, he has an experience of over 36 years in L&D and has worked in 60-plus countries. During his career, Ed has received over 40 Association for Talent Development (ATD) Excellence in Practice Awards, a lifetime achievement award from India Learning Society, and many other best practice recognitions.

A Harvard alumnus, Ed will be focusing on the executive development for Amazon's top 300 leaders - focusing on skills needed to lead large, rapidly growing organizations. He has also recently got his book ‘Leadership Traits Insights for Today, Pathway to the Future’ published which highlights the results of a global survey undertaken to find out how people from different generations and cultures view leadership and features articles from future and current leaders around the world.
