Advertising firm FCB Ulka has appointed Rohit Ohri as group chairman and chief executive, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. Carter Murray, worldwide CEO of FCB, announced the leadership change, effective January 2016. Ohri succeeds Nagesh Alai, who will become global vice-chairman at FCB, working on special global initiatives for Murray. Ohri joins FCB from Japanese ad agency Dentsu. He was CEO of Dentsu Asia Pacific and, previously, executive chairman of Dentsu India Group. Ohri joins FCB Ulka with 26 years of experience in the industry. Before Dentsu, he headed the Delhi office of JWT India ad advertising agency that is part of WPP Inc.
