Recently, employees at Godrej India's sprawling campus at the Mumbai suburb of Vikroli watched a special pop-up edition of Kashish, the biggest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender (LGBT) film festival in India and South Asia. Having an open conversation on sexual orientation and LGBT was a rather daring move by an Indian corporate as the subject has until very recently been left out of the diversity agenda of most companies, an Economic Times report said.

But not any more. A few Indian companies are warming up to the idea of having open discussions on LGBT rights and inclusion at workplace, while several multinationals in the country such as Goldman Sachs, Accenture, and Google have included reference to sexual orientation and gender identity as part of their diversity policy at workplace.
