Flipkart is set to hire an engineer from Google, Peeyush Ranjan, for the company’s commerce division. He will be led by Mukesh Bansal in a key role. The company had hired another Google engineer, Punit Soni for a Chief Product Officer role. Flipkart is focused on strengthening its technology leadership and capability as its key to competitiveness.
