HackerRank appoints Arunkumar Jadhav as VP of engineering

HackerRank appoints Arunkumar Jadhav as VP of engineering 

HR tech recruitment firm, HackerRank has roped in Arunkumar Jadhav, former Associate Vice President of Engineering FreeCharge, as Vice President of Engineering. In his new role, he will focus on improving and leveraging the industry-leading hiring platform so that every developer in the world can access HackerRank to learn, compete and ultimately get hired. 

With 11 years of experience in software development, Jadhav was one of the first developers who bootstrapped FreeCharge at Bangalore. He was the key person behind the growth of FreeCharge which was eventually acquired by e-commerce company Snapdeal.  Prior to working at FreeCharge, Jadhav was associated with Amazon for almost seven years. 

Validiating HackerRank’s expansion opportunity, Harishankaran Karunanidhi, cofounder, HackerRank said, “Jadhav’s deep domain knowledge and experience will help us perform better as a company,”

HackerRank a pioneer in technical recruitment provides a platform for software developers to hone their coding skills, compete in coding challenges, and ultimately get hired by the best companies. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, VMware, Adobe, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others use HackerRank to source, screen, interview, and hire software engineers. 

"My goal is to make HackerRank more robust," said Jadhav.  Jadhav has completed his masters in Information Technology from IIT Bombay.
