MC Misra takes charge of AIIMS
MC Misra who was earlier the chief of the trauma center at AIIMS officially took charge of the institute as the Director on October 11. Misra succeeds RC Deka, who retired on September 30. Mishra was selected from among the five shortlisted candidates. His name was forwarded by the institute body of AIIMS, headed by Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to the PMO for the final nod.
