McDonalds replaces CEO

The global fast-food chain, McDonalds has replaced its President and CEO, Donald Thompson after the company reported another quarter of poor sales and revenue. The Board of Directors in the company said that it chose the Vice President, Steve Esterbrook to replace Thompson. The decision came five days after the company reported 2.4 per cent decline in revenues and a 19 per cent drop in earnings per share.
