"It's an incredible honor and privilege for me to lead the HR Function at HT Media, which has the legacy of being the #1 GTPW in the Media Industry," shared Paras Kaushik with People Matters. 

After working with Samvardhan Motherson Group as Head of Group Human Resources for more than a year, seasoned HR leader, Kaushik has now joined HT Media as the Chief Human Resource Officer. He took the role in June and is based out of Delhi. 

Before joining SMG, Kaushik was heading HR Lifestyle Business (Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England, Simon Carter) of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. At ABG he was responsible for end-to-end HR for an employee base of 21,000 in firm’s Retail Stores, Manufacturing Units, and Corporate Office. 

Kaushik joined ABG in 2002 as Management Trainee and then in a very short period of time, he grew in the company. From becoming the Manager L&D, Hindalco in 2003, then Head of Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs, Group HR in 2005 to moving to the Philippines and heading HR - Aditya Birla Minacs in 2007, Kaushik’s journey in ABG has been quite enriching.

As Kaushik begins a new journey with HT Media, he says, "I am excited and proud to be a part of this great organization." Besides being the CHRO, he will also be part of the leadership team of HT Media Limited, a leading Media & Entertainment conglomerates in India.
