Pixis, a California-based leading provider of contextual codeless AI infrastructure for complete marketing optimization, has announced that its APAC CEO Neel Pandya, will now also spearhead the organisation’s Europe Business as CEO.

A seasoned leader with an impressive global experience and a deep understanding of consumers in APAC and Europe, Neel was named among India's Top 40 under 40 Most Disruptive Minds, two years consecutively. His accolades also include serving as the youngest media head of all times at L’Oreal and Vodafone.

As CEO of Pixis’ European business, Neel’s key responsibilities will include leveraging existing traction in the region to profoundly grow the business and brand, stated a release. He will also be responsible for driving talent and business growth in key European markets.

In recent months the company has almost tripled in headcount and plans to continue the hiring spree as it expands into the European market. Pandya has been instrumental in progressively changing the way Pixis operates and streamlining the firm’s APAC expansion plans. He has not only added close to 30 new enterprise customers, but continues to play a crucial role in building a global team of collaborators in Pixis.

Last week, the technology firm raised $100 Mn in Series-C round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from new investor General Atlantic. Other existing investors who also participated in the latest fundraise include Premji Invest, Celesta Capital and Chiratae Ventures. Having raised a total of $124 Mn so far, the company is all set to accelerate growth and expansions across Europe.

“Neel has been doing a remarkable job navigating and growing the business in APAC and it gives me immense pleasure to announce Neel’s appointment as CEO of our Europe business, as well. In addition to the new volley of customers we’re signing up, we’re also seeing record retention rates with our existing customers,” said Co-founder and Global CEO Shubham A. Mishra.

“Over the last few months, we’ve been noticing steadily increasing traction in Europe, and I believe we have the right person in Neel to lead our Europe business,” Mishra added.

Based out of Bengaluru, Pandya took on the role as CEO APAC for Pixis in July 2021, after a four year tenure with L’Oreal as National Media Head. Under his leadership, within six months Pixis has experienced a 185% growth in revenue in the APAC Region, with a 150% revenue jump in India alone.

“The past 7 months at Pixis have seen my learning curve grow steeply, and I’m beyond honoured at being given the responsibility to grow the Europe business now. The continent is currently undergoing an interesting and exciting phase in marketing. In fact, digital advertising spends alone have amounted to over 69.4 billion Euros, making it the second biggest market after the US. I’m thoroughly looking forward to building strong teams that can support us in growing our European operations,” said Neel of his new role.

“Neel’s success in the APAC region is testament to his belief in the Pixis vision, as well as his charisma as a leader. His prior experience with the European markets will serve him excellently in executing and staying on top of the expansion roadmap,” stated Venkatesh Peddi, Partner at Chiratae Ventures, an existing investor.

With Pixis being on a mission to expand the reach of its robust plug-and-play AI products, it will be interesting to see how Neel scales talent and capabilities across the European market while amplifying brand presence across APAC.
