Rajeev Chopra, who is presently the MD and CEO of Philips India, has been named the global head of the company’s Consumer Luminaire business group. Chopra, who has been the Philips India CEO since January 2011, will be relocating to Brussels, a statement from the Dutch conglomerate said on Thursday. Chopra joins legions of Indian-origin heads of businesses who are now responsible for big global roles. Recently, Coca-Cola's Atul Singh and PepsiCo's Sanjeev Chadha were chosen to spearhead significant markets as more Indian talent gets recognized across levels in MNCs.
